In The name Of The Father is definitely my all-time favourite movie! Watching it as a teenager, it stirred me from the very opening scene and kept me outraged till the end, but most of all, it was to awaken a lasting sense of political involvement within me as a young adult, and concern for all the world's injustices. Not to mention a passion for the very society it depicts: civil war-ridden Northern Ireland in the 1970s.
