First Biggie's album

During his short life (1972-1997), Notorious Big aka Biggie Smalls records two albums but he die in 1997, two weeks before the second album's release in a fusillade.

Ready to die is the first album of Notorious Big and Bad Boys record, published on 13 september 1994, reaching 13th place on the Billboard 200 and he is directly congratuled by the critics (9.77/10 on average).

In the middle of 90's,the East Coast rap dominates the "US rap game" so the album has a great success in part because the label's team make the choice to invite successful rapper's of the moment (ex: Method Man from the Wu-Tang Clan) for touch a large public,the strategy works because, now, Ready To Die is a great classic of the US rap.
