The Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries is an American dramatico-fantasy television series created by Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson and inspired by novels.

Elena Gilbert is a 17 year old teenager living in the mysterious city of Mystic Falls, Virginia. She and her brother, Jeremy, 15 years old live with their aunt Jenna Sommers since the death of their parents, who died in a car accident four months ago. Elena keeps a diary where she will tell all her adventures with her two best friends Bonnie Bennett and Caroline Forbes.

At the beginning of the school year, she meets Stefan Salvatore, a mysterious newcomer, whom she immediately falls in love with before meeting her elder brother "diabolical", Damon Salvatore. She soon discovered their secret: they are vampires. This meeting will completely change his life as well as those of his friends.
