Velvet

Today I wanted to share you a dramatic Spanish series which I adore!! It is a series sometimes mixed between the laughter and the tears. It takes place in 1958, galleries Velveteen, fashion house and department store of Madrid, dominate the Spanish fashion. In the head, Rafael Márquez wishes that his son Alberto, of return of England where he studied, takes his succession. But Alberto sees things very differently from his father, that it is about style or about its way of living its sentimental love life. At the dawn of 1960s, him bubbling young man wishes to modernize the creations house by being inspired by new fashion designers as Dior or Balenciaga. He also wishes to live his love story with Ana, a simple needlewoman and even if this relation is not for the taste of his family ... Throughout the series we can follow the stories of the fashion designers in galleries but especially the history which seems impossible between Ana and Alberto.
